Urge the Port Authority to Protect Pigeons at the George Washington Bridge Bus Station

More than two months ago, the Port Authority of NY and NJ and its pest control contractor, Bell Environmental Services, installed exclusion netting at the George Washington Bridge Bus Station underpass. The netting sealed more than 50 pigeons and their young inside. Advocates monitoring the site daily report that at least 20 birds have died since, including seven juveniles.

The Port Authority is a public agency, and its leadership answers to the public. Urge the Port Authority and Bell Environmental Services to act now, so that no more pigeons suffer and die.
